Currently, I am an incoming postdoctoral researcher with the Systems Group at ETH Zürich (Switzerland), starting in April 2026. Previously, I worked as a predoctoral researcher at the Singular Research Center for Intelligent Technologies (CiTIUS), part of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). My research interests focus on High-Performance Computing, particularly heterogeneous computing, distributed systems, performance portability, high-level synthesis, as well as the efficient processing of 3D point clouds.
I earned my BSc in Computer Science Engineering in 2019, my MSc in High-Performance Computing in 2020, and my PhD in Information Technology Research (defended cum laude) in 2025, all from the University of Santiago de Compostela. My PhD thesis focused on the development of portable heterogeneous computing applications using unified programming models and on the evaluation of their performance across different platforms, including CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs, hosted on distributed HPC systems. During my studies, I completed internships at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and the Galicia Supercomputing Center (CESGA). As part of my PhD, I had the opportunity to be a guest researcher in the Embedded Systems Research Group at the University of Minho (Portugal) and the Systems Group at ETH Zürich (Switzerland).
